This RMU adopts a highly reliable CT self-powered protection design principle. When faults such as short circuits, overcurrents, or earth faults occur within the protected zone, the secondary current generated by the current transformer increases. This causes the corresponding fuse within the protection device to blow. The CT power-supplying circuit, connected in parallel with the fuse, is activated, generating a trip pulse that drives the circuit breaker mechanism to open.
